Pure.Sink Universal – Drain Kits and Basket Stoppers for Kitchen Sinks

Discover Pure.Sink Universal, an extensive collection of high-quality drain sets, basket strainers, drain covers, and practical accessories for kitchen sinks. The series combines reliable functionality with stylish finishes and smart solutions for a complete sink installation. From a classic stainless steel basket strainer set to a luxurious gold drain set with automatic operation: Pure.Sink Universal offers suitable solutions for a wide range of kitchen styles and sinks.

The collection stands out for its wide selection of colors, various designs for round and rectangular overflow openings, and practical drain systems with manual or automatic operation. Thanks to the matching finishes in stainless steel, gold, copper, gunmetal, matte black, and matte white, the visible drain components can be perfectly coordinated with the sink, kitchen faucet, and other kitchen accessories.

Complete Drain Sets for Kitchen Sinks

A properly functioning sink starts with a reliable drain set. The Pure.Sink Universal collection offers various complete basket strainer sets for connecting and finishing the drain of a kitchen sink.

Depending on the model, the drain sets consist of a basket strainer and matching overflow components. The basket strainer catches larger food scraps and helps prevent them from entering the drain directly. At the same time, the drain plug ensures that the sink can be easily sealed to retain water.

The Universal drain sets are available for sinks with round or rectangular overflows. Various models come with parts for both overflow types. As a result, the collection offers a practical solution for both new sink installations and the replacement of existing drain components.

Manual basket plugs and automatic drain systems

Pure.Sink Universal offers various control options for opening and closing the sink drain. This allows you to choose between a simple manual basket stopper or a more luxurious drain system with automatic operation.

• Manual basket strainer set: a practical and reliable solution where the drain is opened or closed directly at the basket strainer. Ideal for daily use and easy to maintain.
• Automatic basket stopper set: a convenient option that allows the drain to be operated remotely via the dedicated control mechanism. This eliminates the need to open the basket stopper directly by hand.
• Push-button drain: a luxury drain system with pneumatic push-button operation. With a single push of a button, the drain can be opened or closed without having to reach into the sink with your hands.

The automatic drain sets, in particular, offer added convenience in a modern kitchen. The control can be integrated into a practical location—for example, in the countertop or in a suitable faucet opening—depending on the chosen system and the available installation space.

Colored drain sets in stainless steel, gold, copper, and gunmetal

One of the key features of Pure.Sink Universal is the extensive selection of stylish colors. This allows the visible drain components to be coordinated with the sink and kitchen faucet for a harmonious kitchen design.

• Stainless steel drain set: a timeless stainless steel finish that pairs perfectly with classic stainless steel sinks and modern kitchen faucets.
• Gold drain set: a luxurious and warm gold color that pairs beautifully with gold PVD kitchen faucets, white sinks, and elegant designer kitchens.
• Copper drain set: a stylish copper finish that adds warmth and character to the kitchen. Particularly well-suited for combinations with natural stone, wood, and copper faucets.
• Gunmetal drain set: a modern dark gray metal finish that perfectly complements minimalist and industrial kitchen interiors.
• Matte black drain set: a bold and contemporary finish for black sinks and modern kitchens with dark accents.
• Matte white drain set: a subtle finish for white composite, quartz, and ceramic sinks, creating a calm and uniform look.

The colored drain plugs are particularly well-suited for personalizing a sink. For example, pair a white sink with a gold basket strainer, a black sink with a copper drain set, or a beige composite sink with stylish gunmetal accents.

Round and Rectangular Overflow Finishes

Not every sink has the same overflow opening. That’s why Pure.Sink offers Universal drain sets with different overflow finishes, so the visible overflow can be neatly matched to the sink’s design.

The collection includes versions for both round and rectangular overflow openings. Certain Universal drain sets come with both overflow variants, while other models are specifically designed for one particular shape.

This allows you to select the right drain solution based on the sink and the desired color. Always check the shape and dimensions of the overflow opening in advance to determine which drain set is suitable.

Decorative basket plugs and drain covers

In addition to complete drain sets, Pure.Sink Universal offers a stylish collection of round drain covers, also known as basket plug covers or drain caps. These decorative covers are placed over the existing basket plug and create a sleek and luxurious look.

The round drain covers conceal the visible basket strainer, while allowing water to flow beneath the cover to the drain. This preserves the sink’s practical functionality and gives the drain area an elegant and minimalist finish.

The basket strainer covers are available in stainless steel, matte black, matte white, gold, copper, and gunmetal. With a diameter of approximately 115 mm, they make a stylish addition to many standard sink drains, provided the dimensions match.

A colored drain cover also offers a simple way to change the look of an existing sink without replacing the entire drain assembly.

Space-saving traps for single and double sinks

Pure.Sink Universal also offers practical space-saving traps for kitchen sinks. These drain systems are specially designed to make optimal use of the available space in the kitchen cabinet.

With a traditional sink trap, a large portion of the drain assembly is located directly beneath the sink. The space-saving Universal traps move the drain pipes and odor trap as far back as possible toward the rear of the kitchen cabinet. This creates extra space for waste separation systems, storage drawers, cleaning supplies, and compact kitchen water heaters.

The collection includes models for single sinks as well as double or one-and-a-half sinks. Various models feature connection options for a dishwasher or other compatible kitchen appliances.

Thanks to their practical design, these traps are an excellent choice for both new kitchens and renovation projects where optimal use of space is important.

Installation parts and accessories for sink installations

In addition to drain sets and traps, Pure.Sink Universal offers additional parts for the installation and finishing of kitchen sinks.

For thicker sink materials, such as natural stone and concrete, an extended hollow mounting screw is available, for example. When used with compatible basket plug sets, this allows the connection to be adapted to a greater material thickness.

The collection also includes a practical 35 mm hole cutter for cutting a faucet hole in a compatible stainless steel sink. Additionally, angle stop valves and supplementary siphon parts are available for a complete kitchen installation.

These accessories make it easier to install a sink correctly and adapt it to the specific conditions in the kitchen.

Perfectly compatible with Pure.Sink sinks and Elite Steel kitchen faucets

Pure.Sink Universal is a practical addition to Pure.Sink’s various sink and kitchen faucet collections. Thanks to the extensive color selection, the visible drain components can be paired with matching kitchen faucets and sinks.

For example, a gold drain set in a white Pure.Sink Eternal Quartz sink, a gunmetal drain plug in a black Fibre Bio-Fiber sink, or a copper basket plug in a luxury stainless steel sink from the Comfort collection.

Stylish combinations are also possible with the Pure.Sink Elite Steel kitchen faucets. These faucets are available in various metal finishes, including stainless steel, gold, copper, and gunmetal. Choosing a drain set and kitchen faucet in matching colors creates a luxurious and polished look.

This allows you to carry the kitchen’s aesthetic through to the smallest details—from the kitchen faucet and sink to the drain plug and overflow trim.

What to Look for When Choosing a Sink Drain Kit?

When choosing a new drain set, it’s important to consider the sink’s technical specifications. Not every drain set is automatically compatible with every sink.

Therefore, check the diameter of the drain opening, the dimensions of the basket strainer, the shape of the overflow, and the available installation space. Many Pure.Sink Universal basket strainer sets are designed for an 89 mm drain opening and feature an outer ring of 114 mm. The exact measurements may vary by product.

It is also important to determine in advance whether a manual basket plug is sufficient or if an automatic drain control is desired. With automatic systems, the space required for the control mechanism must be taken into account.

Choosing the right drain set ensures a reliable installation that complements the sink both functionally and aesthetically.
